Double Vision from Contacts?
Question by Sant: Double Vision from Contacts?
a couple weeks before i left for college i got my first set of contacts. A few weeks later i started noticing double vision or ghost images. It is usually objects in a distance, such as when i am in a lecture hall that professor sometimes looks double. It goes away when i close one eye. It is worse when i dont have either my glasses or contacts on. Maybe because i can not focus it is worse. what i see is one image and second image except on is raised higher. Also when i was young i had corrective surgery as a kid for a lazy eye. The doctor told my father that it might not permanently fix the lazy eye. Could the contact lenses have brought the lazy eye back? I can not go to the doctor because i am at school and i do not have a car, so i was just going to go when i go home for break. Should i not wait that long?

Do you know if it’s an astigmatism correction? I would not wait until you are on break to have this looked at.
