i’m not sure how much it costs but i do know some ups and downs about it. My grandpa, aunt and best friend all had it done and it ended up being the best thing!BUT…my mom also had the eye sugery and had it messed up.To be able to do the surgery you have to have a suction on your eye so that the machine can cut your eye and make it into a littl e flap.My moms doctor out too much of a suction on her eye and when the machine went over her eye it cut the eye all the way and when it went back over it scraped her eye causing her to become lagally blind out of one eye. It was a one in a million thing that she got fixed but it still was horrible. You should really do your homework when it comes to choosing a doctor.
I had laser vision surgery a few years ago in one of my eyes. I didn’t get it done in the other because I wanted to be able to read without glasses with one eye and see in the distance with the other without glasses. It worked out well for me this way and I never need glasses (except sunglasses). I haven’t need any kind of maintenance after the 1st couple of visits. Locally it costs about $ 500 per eye but it probably will be different by where you live. You will have to ask an eye doctor about your other questions but keep in mind you only have to get one eye done if you still want to be able to read without glasses. Good luck.
